I saw a small trailer when i was @ Dreamhack Winter 2007 in Sweden so i browsed along filefront and found a news message \o/
Now i can finally get back oldschool style =]

Anyone else have good memory`s about Bionic Commando on there NES?

Sadly I don't remember too much about the game. However I did read a book based on the game and from what I remember it was AWESOME! Well awesome to a 2nd or 3rd grader dont remember exactly how old I was.


My old elementary schools library had a collection of books based off Nintendo games. The other book I readwas based off ofBlaster Master. Now thats a game they should remake!!! BLASTER MASTER was the shiznit

Not to play the 'I'm really young card'... but didn't NES come out the year I was born? ('86?) Or was it 1988? Should look that one up. Anyway, the only games I've played for NES are Zelda and Mario.....

Dude... yah...not even born yet. Lol. I don't think I held a NES controller till I was 6....so what... 1991/92? By then the SNES was out and almost the friggin N64. Man was I behind the times...I did have a big block Gameboy though when I was 6 I think... Darkwing Duck!

Man I remember playing that game and pulling my hair out trying to make the main dude jump. I was like "what the f***? He won't f***ING JUMP!!! Screw this game!" Years later I dug it out and beat it senseless and killed Hitler making the world a safer place for democracy, but I was still pissed the game wouldn't let me jump.
Today I look back and realise how innovative that game was by making you grapple and not jump. That's just good game design, and some of those puzzles would have been easy if you could jump.


Too bad I was so stupid back then to know that. I just wanted to jump.

I played that a lot on my 486SX 25Mhz!!!
