OCMS Game Server Coming...
Seriously this time... I've downloaded the server programs and everything.
Some of you may know that OCMS has gotten a fiber connection, so we now have tons of extra bandwidth. As soon as I can get the network configured properly then I'll flip the switch and we'll have 40 times more available bandwidth.
I'm working on several projects that will utilize all this extra "free" bandwidth, and one of those projects is a game server, which utilize anywhere from 3-5 Mbit, which would cost me an arm and a leg in a traditional datacenter.
So, what games are you most interested in? I have Call of Duty 4, Unreal Tournament 3, Battlefield 2142, Counter-Strike: Source.
Which are you most interested in? Is there another game I'm leaving out?
